I was looking for the best spot for sunset in Enoshima, and the best spot was not even in the island, but on a cape looking at the island with Mt. Fuji in the background!
Budget: JPY2,500 (~USD23)
- JPY2,500. Train, Tokyo < > JPY1,250 one way
Visit DateWhen to GoAnytime during the year, though make sure to time it when there's no rain (else there'll be no view).
Special Notes- Access: Inamuragasaki Station.
Itinerary- Just take the train, and it was a short walk to the cape (15 minutes?). There's plenty of area for a picnic, so you can also spend some time and just sit there.

Walking to the cape. |
Taking a look back - there's Enoshima! |
Finally arrived at Inamuragasaki Cape - it has big waves! |
This area is not for swimming, but plenty of people were taking pictures. |
Looking back close to the road. I decided to go up and there was a path that goes higher. |
And a flat spot too! Perfect for wild camping. |
Arrived at the top, better for wild camping since there is shelter. |
Looking back, Mt. Fuji was becoming visible. Lucky! |
The area also had some hydrangeas |
So I spent some time taking pictures of them. |
There's a closed path which probably loops around the park. But as it is closed, I had to backtrail. |
Sunset is getting more colorful. |
Whoa. |
Went down, and started walking towards the station. |
