Was hoping to do this in December 2020, but well, things happened. 2021 is still a definite no, and now I figured play it safe and target 2023. 

I do not plan to use a guide and do it independently as we did back when doing Annapurna Circuit Trek.  

Budget: JPY150,000 (~USD1,3) from Tokyo

• Transportation costs. 
• JPY70,000. Flight, Tokyo to Kathmandu Airport. 
• USD150. Flight. Kathmandu Airport to Lukla Airport. 
• Food costs.
• Permit costs. 

Hike Date / Difficulty (Elevation: 5,364m / 17,599ft)

• Target: 2023
• Difficulty: 5 out of 5, I bet. 

When to Go

• Latter October until May, I think.
• The peak season is October to November, mainly because it’s not as cold and the rainy season is supposedly over.
• December to February are much colder given it’s winter, but they also get blessed with clear skies.
• March to April is spring, so it’s not as bad as winter, but still pretty cold.
