(鹿島槍岳) Mt. Kashimayari Hike

A mountain ideally to be done with Mt. Goryu from Hakuba, here's the stand alone itinerary of this hike.

When to Go
I am yet to see logs for winter, so I'd put May to early November as the safe periods. 

Special Notes

• Weather check: English / Japanese.
• Trailheads. Given the lack of public transportation for 大谷原, Ogizawa seems like the default choice, in which case combining this with Mt. Goryu seems like an obvious choice. 
• 大谷原. No public transportation. Google maps pin here. From here to Mt. Kashimayari's summit, it's an 9.5 hour hike, covering 9.4kms with elevation change of ▲2,139m/ ▽389m
• Ogizawa (扇沢駅前). Google maps pin here. From here to Mt. Kashimayari's summit, it's an 8.5 hour hike, covering 11.3kms with elevation change of ▲2,242m/ ▽746m
• Bus, Shinjuku Station to Shinano-Omachi Station. Bus schedule here, buses run from April to mid-December. JPY5,200, 5 hours one way. Consider bus pass. For 2020, schedules as follows:
• Shinjuku Bus Terminal to Shinano-Omachi: 6:35am, 7:35am, 9:35am, 3:05pm, 6:15pm, 11:05pm.
• Shinano-Omachi to Shinjuku Bus Terminal: 7:42am, 9:56am, 2:57pm, 3:57pm, 4:40pm, 5:12pm, 7:57pm. 
• Bus. Shinano-Omachi Station to Ogizawa. Bus schedule here.
